Summer 2011 was more fun and meaningful for a group of students from different universities who participated in ARAL summer.The volunteers were: Krystin, Daina, Lyn, Lyt, Carol, Grace, Pauline, Irene and Mariel. The group gave tutorial classes in Reading at the nearby Juan Luna Elementary School in Sampaloc, Manila. They also taught Catechism and Values Formation. Seminars and workshops on teaching and volunteerism were also conducted for the volunteers. At the end of the program, the kids were awarded with a field trip at the Science Centrum in Marikina City. Volunteers Lyn and her twin, Lyt Acena were awarded the most outstanding Volunteers for their 100% attendance throughout the program. 

Last June 6-10, 2011, advance review classes for dentistry students were conducted by Dr. Daphne Ong assisted by Pauline Javier and Dean Moriente. The subjects reviewed were Biochemistry, Microscopic Anatomy, Physiology, Gen. Anatomy, Oral Anatomy and Dental materials. The students who were mostly from UE College of Dentistry commented that the review gave them a lot of confidence to tackle the subjects for the coming school year. Personal Mentoring were also made available to the students.
