Volunteer Now and Help Improve Lives
Every Saturday morning ARAL runs a small enrichment program in Bustillos, Sampaloc. The program is open to neighbourhood girls. The children of Sampaloc will charm you. Despite poverty, hardship, and hunger, children smile, laugh, and play. They love interacting with our volunteers; the time is very special for both groups. Volunteers have flexibility in how they manage their time with the children, but the goal of the ARAL is to be both educational and fun. Volunteers teach the children some basic English, Math, Reading, and Values. The program also offers a chance for cultural exposures through excursions. |
